President’s Message

Robert Britton

Many years ago, the Lord laid it on my heart to use my experiences in the Air Force to train people to bring the gospel to world. I knew God had a specific place to serve Him where I could share my love of flight with missions. That is when I heard about the College of Missionary Aviation. Today, I am blessed to serve as CMA’s president.

The experience of the college is truly unique and the Lord has enabled us to develop, modify, and execute His plan to produce future missionary pilots and mechanics. Furthermore, CMA is committed to glorifying God by providing high quality, very affordable, and streamlined training.

CMA’s academic program offers an important mix of Bible courses with aviation to ensure graduates are prepared for the mission field. That includes 36 credits of Bible and Theology and 16 credits of General Education and Missions. Also required are 68 credits of aviation training, including FAA required courses for your Private Pilot License, Instrument Rating, and Commercial License, along with the requisite 250 flight and simulator hours. Completing the program qualifies you for a Bachelor of Science in Missions with a concentration in aviation.

Although CMA is not yet accredited, our affiliation with Crown College allows CMA students to dual enroll and complete online courses that will provide an accredited degree. If you have acceptable credit transfers, the program length will be adjusted accordingly. Successful completion of the CMA program launches you on your journey serving God through a career in missionary aviation.

If through prayer, Bible study, and His Spirit, you believe that God is calling you to serve Him through aviation and are ready to answer the call, we would be honored to help you fulfill His calling on your life. If you, on the other hand, are not yet certain of His will, we would be happy to speak and pray with you. Finally, if you just have questions or want to see our facilities, we are happy to accommodate that as well.

May God direct you to the special place He has in store for you.
